2-Thermaltake Core V21 case

Little cases like Thermaltake’s Core V22 are perfect for media PCs and storage boxes. It can fit an M-ATX or Mini-ATX motherboard and accompanying components, but there’s ample room in such a small chassis just in case you want to throw in a bigger graphics card. Another bonus of the Core V21 is the price, which, as you can tell, is quite low.

The cuboid nature of the Thermaltake Core V21 defies expectations and allows you to rearrange the panels and cooling to your heart’s content. Stripping the chassis bare is a quick process as each panel is held on with two thumbscrews. Once the top, bottom and sides are removed you can see the chassis is a simple framework with a riveted motherboard tray. This highlights how much space you have inside the V21 with clearance for a CPU cooler that is 185mm in height, a graphics card up to 350mm in length and a power supply up to 200mm long when you use a bottom fan in this best pc case under 100$ .

3-NZXT H510 case

NZXT’s PC cases are always head-turners, and the sharp lines of the NZXT H510 are no exception. This mid-tower packs everything you’d want for a high-class build. It’s available in different colors, has a pretty elegant cable management system, a pair of 120mm fans included with support for full water-cooling setups, and a three-quarter tempered glass panel, plus USB-C on the front I/O panel. It looks pretty special with some RGB lighting, too! Best PC Cases Under $100

We first saw NZXT’s H510 Elite in person at Computex, it looked good in person, and I was anxious get one in to play around with and actually build a PC. The new H510 Elite joins other refreshed H series cases but goes one step further by offering the new Smart Device V2 for all your lighting needs and a new tempered glass front panel.

Has the wait paid off, and is this a mid-tower case you must consider for your next PC build? The H510 Elite commands a hefty price so it needs to deliver. But NZXT really nailed it best pc cases under 100$.

Editor’s note: NZXT provided Windows Central with a review sample, which was used for in-depth testing and this review. We received a consumer package to emulate best pc cases under 100$ exactly what you’ll receive should you purchase this PC case.

4-Cooler Master Silencio S400 case

You might think you have to pay a significant premium to get a super-quiet PC case, but that’s far from the truth. True to its name, the Cooler Master Silencio has sound-dampening material on the front, sides, and top. There’s no tempered glass here, but the front door can be reversed to open whichever way you desire, the top can be removed for added ventilation, and it comes with a couple of 120mm silent fans to get your build going.

Cooler Master has quite a roster of PC cases available, including the Silencio S400. It’s a case that justifies its name with sound-dampening panels on the top, sides, and front, giving you a bit of peace and quiet while the hardware inside powers on. It’s a fairly basic case when it comes to styling, with a black exterior and your choice of solid steel or tempered glass side panel. It’s also fairly affordable, generally hovering around the $100 mark. I built a PC inside the Silencio S400 to get an idea of its pros and cons, and ultimately to get an idea of whether or not it’s worth the best pc cases under 100$.

The Cooler Master Silencio S400 is available at plenty of major online retailers, including Amazon, Newegg, and Walmart. The model with a steel side panel with sound dampening (which I’m reviewing here) looks to cost about $115 across all major retailers, though we have seen it down to $85 at its cheapest price is one of the best pc cases under 100$.

The version with a tempered glass side panel (and less sound dampening) is much harder to find at a decent price. You won’t be able to show off your internal hardware without it, but your PC will run quieter.

5-Corsair 275R Airflow case

Going for style and tempered glass doesn’t have to mean sacrificing on important airflow, and the Corsair 275R is designed to combine all of these things. You can get it in white or black; it’s designed for up to ATX builds and comes with a trio of 120mm fans to get you started. It also has support for up to six 120mm fans in total or a pair of radiators up to 360mm, so whatever you build will always stay frosty.
Corsair PC cases cover a wide spectrum, ranging from aggressive gamer styling to outrageous functionality. The 1000D is a super tower that can house two computers (yes, two) with up to eight fans on the front panel alone. That’s more than what the Corsair 275R Airflow can handle altogether. But that case also costs considerably more than this one.

Where the 275R fits in is between the super affordable and mid-range, offering some premium features reserved for more expensive cases. After unboxing the cases, it doesn’t look cheap at all. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at just how well designed the 275R is, aside from the small gap between the front panel and main body.

Speaking of the front panel, we’ve got the lattice style cutouts for pulling in air. This is on the sides of the front panel too and it looks great in black. On the right side, it’s the usual bare metal side panel. The opposite side is the tempered glass window, which is held to the chassis with four thumbscrews. The top best pc cases under 100$ must house the dust filter and fan grill.

Choosing the best PC case

Getting the best PC case doesn’t have to mean spending hundreds of dollars on a case anymore. The sub-$100 market is packed with amazing choices like the Phanteks P360A and Corsair 275R Airflow to name but two. Saving money on one of these great cases will allow you to spend more where it really matters, on what goes inside it.

But in both cases, you still get a high-quality product that looks good on the outside, has plenty of space for a pretty sizeable build inside and has lots of scope for cable management. It has to be good to build in as well, and these are.

But if you’re happy to push the budget to the max, the Cooler Master Silencio S400 would be a great house for your next PC build. It’s really good value and is a breeze to build inside. It’s a much more expensive case adjusted in small ways to meet the $100 market. It’s utterly glorious.

6-Phanteks Eclipse P360A

The P360A is also aesthetically pleasing. The best pc cases under 100$, which comes in a sleek black color, has a distinct minimalistic look that looks great when paired with RGB illumination. The Phanteks themselves include two 120mm PWM fans with RGB lighting. These can coincide with other RGB LED elements using a separate Phanteks controller, and the LEDs can then be controlled using the I/O panel’s RGB-Mode and RGB-Colour buttons. Lighting can also be controlled directly from the motherboard. Best PC Cases Under $100
